II. צְפַרְדֵּֽעַ

Exodus 8:1-7

And the Lord spoke to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Let My people go, that they may serve Me. But if you refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all your territory with frogs. So the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into your house, into your bedroom, on your bed, into the houses of your servants, on your people, into your ovens, and into your kneading bowls. And the frogs shall come up on you, on your people, and on all your servants.”

Then the Lord spoke to Moses, “Say to Aaron, ‘Stretch out your hand with your rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up on the land of Egypt.’ ” So Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt. And the magicians did so with their enchantments, and brought up frogs on the land of Egypt.

I've been pouring over Vane's file, trying to find out more about this toad. Vane was obsessed with psychedelics, and honestly it makes sense, it was probably one of the primary ways they could communicate with these things. In our world, this toad is something sacred, it's venom is  used in South America for ritual practice alongside ayahuasca.

The venom of this toad contains a compound known as 5-MeO-DMT, the strongest psychedelic in the world. Reported experiences on it range from seeing the absolute most terrifying of horrors, to healing lifelong chronic illnesses or trauma within minutes. I suppose that's why it's dubbed "The God Molecule".

If the toad lies in between dimensions, then maybe what all those psychonaut loons say about these substances bridging the gap between realities probably has some weight after all. And if Tzfardeiya is the representation of that bridge, then just how much can the Seer really see?
